Our Projects
Check out some of our projects, We are on a Mission!
We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to own or have access to a computer. Access to computers gives people the chance to shape their own futures in this new age. We exist to help more people discover the joys of computing and the opportunities it can bring.
KwaShangase Primary School
The organization received computer donations from the University of
KwaZulu-Natal’s School of Built Environment & Development Studies and these
were donated to KwaShangase Primary School in 2021. The aim is to enable
learners to learn about the computers and their composition, and to inspire
them to study towards Computer Science related disciplines in the future.
The organization sourced donations of MTN sim-cards for Grade 12 learners in order to enable them to access the MTN Online school for exams revision. The organization is currently fundraising to upgrade a classroom to a computer room for learners, buy new computers, and seek donations of computers in a good working condition.
Computers4KZNSchools recently successfully donated 3 computers to rural schools in KZN. A
community member, Mrs Nothando, Mbatsane, generously donated 3 computers to the
organisation which were then sent by courier to the schools. Out of these 3 schools,
Ngungwini Secondary School received the computer donation successfully as their goal is to
work towards bringing technology to their school learners to help equip them with the
technological skills that will make it necessary and easy for them to adapt to the use of
technology especially as the school learners venture off to tertiary education. Dendethu
Primary School, another school that received computer donation, also plans on enhancing
the learners’ digital skills to help them have access to a world of information and modern
learning techniques. A community member generously donated 3 computers to the
organisation which were then sent by courier to the schools. The organisation is looking
forward to more donations, which can be computers that are not in use and/or any other
form of donations are also welcome to help school learners in rural areas have access to
technology. Mophela Primary School also received the computer donation to enable
technology enhanced learning at the school.
